Comparison of NABH and AB-PMJAY Quality Standards for Accreditation in a Tertiary Care Medical hospital

Background: Quality Improvement (QI) is the organised approach to design and apply constant development inperformance. QI in hospitals increase patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction as well quality of care providedby an organisation. In India assessed by different standards which primarily included thoselaid down National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), were introducedin 2006 Council (QCI). 2018, Health Authority (NHA), introduced AyushmanBharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB – PMJAY) Certification standards, collaboration withQuality (QCI), enhancing improving across thehospitals.Objectives: The study was carried out with objective compare AB-PMJAY Gold standard NABH 5thEdition, identify challenges faced ensuring compliance these standards.Methods: descriptive cross sectional a multi-specialty hospital inRajasthan 2022. find similarities differences ABPMJAYand standards.
